Nestled in the enchanting landscape of Siena, Ristorante Pizzeria La Miniera offers a delightful escape into the heart of authentic Italian cuisine. With its cozy ambiance and welcoming service, this charming eatery is the perfect place to indulge in a culinary journey through Tuscany.

The restaurant specializes in traditional Italian fare, making it a beloved spot among locals and travelers alike. Among its standout dishes, the Carbonara has garnered rave reviews, praised for its creamy consistency and rich flavors that leave a lasting impression. Gonzalo Hirsch eloquently expressed how the dish was “so good it left him stupid for a few hours,” capturing the pure bliss that comes with each mouthful. Talal S echoed this sentiment, noting that the portion size is meant for sharing or for three hungry diners—perfect for those looking to dive into a truly sumptuous experience.

Equally remarkable is the Fiorentine steak, recommended by max brat, who found it to be a 10/10 delight for medium-rare steak lovers. The expert cooking and quality of ingredients shine through in each dish, ensuring that every bite transports you straight to the heart of Italy. And for those with a sweet tooth, the Tiramisu is an absolute must-try, with its perfect balance of coffee-soaked layers and creamy indulgence.

The atmosphere at La Miniera is casual yet intimate, making it ideal for romantic dinners or heartfelt gatherings with friends and family. The attentive service from the owner and staff enhances the overall experience, ensuring that you feel well taken care of throughout your visit. As Bryant Alvey notes, the friendly, unpretentious vibe makes for a lovely dining experience, leading many to return for a second helping of their culinary masterpieces. “After an amazing lunch, we decided to go back for dinner,” he remarked, capturing the restaurant's irresistible charm.

For anyone exploring Siena, Ristorante Pizzeria La Miniera is a culinary gem that you should not miss. Whether you're a self-proclaimed foodie or simply in search of a hearty meal, this restaurant promises to deliver flavors that linger long after the last bite. Food was really good, specially the Carbonara and Tiramisu. The Carbonara left me stupid for a few hours from how good it was. The sharing platter was a bit overpriced in my opinion, not really worth it. Service was good, but they brought bread without us asking and didn’t offer it to us, just left it in the table. They ended up charging us 5 euros for it and they took it away before we even finished the entire meal. They also charged for service, which left us wondering why they charged so much for the bread. Would’ve been a 5 star review if we weren’t charged so much for the bread (same price as a Tiramisu!).

The best food I had in Tuscany. The owner was very accommodating, took care of my wife and I. We went here for our last 2 dinners in Tuscany because the food was fantastic. The Carbonara was 10/10 if you like creamy/cheesy pasta. The Fiorentine steak was very good, 10/10 for me, (but if you don't like medium-rare steak then it's probably not for you). The restaurant is in a nice little spot with plenty of parking. Everything we had was amazing and I'll recommend it to any friends visiting Toscana.. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially on weekends.

Candidly the best meal / experience we’ve had in Italy (we are “foodies” from Portland OR). Casual, unpretentious, extremely good service and the food….incredible. The chicken la Minera is an absolute must. After an amazing lunch, we decided to go back for dinner…. Not sure I’ve done that before (while traveling anyway).

The best restaurant in Tuscany, the Marinated chicken, parmigiana starter and carbonara pasta were so so good, the carbonara is very big though, for 3 people maybe. The owner was very nice to us, thank you for the great experience!

We come here often for good pizza in a lovely outdoor setting. The place is nice, the staff is friendly. We come early so parking is not an issue but on busy days it could be. Food in general is great. The outdoor space is fantastic although it could do with a little upgrade especially the kids area but my daughters love it and are always willing ot go there.

A warm welcome from the host and stayed here for 2 nights. Room clean and as expected and a self service breakfast. Restaurant was surprisingly good. First night a calzone/pizza and 2nd day steak, french fries and salat. Especially the calzone/pizza tasted great. Never had this combination before. Location is not so far from Sienna, so it is a good quit place to stay fir visiting Siena. Large parking are is available on site
